CONTEXT

The supplied profile screen combines a cover image and identity area with tabs for Timeline, About, Friends, Photos, and Videos. The page also includes an introduction panel, activity feed, recent photos, and blog posts.

DESIGN CHALLENGE

Organize a rich profile page so visitors can quickly understand who the person is, browse recent activity, and reach related content without losing their place.

MY CONTRIBUTION

I designed the UX and UI for the profile experience shown, using a clear page hierarchy to connect identity, navigation, activity, and supporting content.

Make each next step feel clear.

The supplied screen shows three levels of content: profile identity and section navigation; a central timeline; and side panels for personal information, photos, and posts. A right-side rail keeps social contacts visible.

02Choose a profile section
03Browse timeline activity
04Explore photos and related content
DESIGN FOCUS

Design focus: make the profile useful as both a personal introduction and a route into ongoing activity.

Bring the connected parts into view.

The supplied design brings profile navigation, personal context, a social feed, reactions, photos, posts, and contacts into one desktop layout. No research or outcome metrics were supplied.

01

Cover and profile identity area

02

Section navigation for timeline, about, friends, photos, and videos

03

Central activity feed with reactions and comments

04

Supporting panels for profile details, photos, and blog posts

A useful next step is to test the hierarchy on smaller screens and check whether people can distinguish profile information from timeline activity at a glance.
